Would you like increased energy and calorie burn for up to 36 hours after your initial workout? Check Orangetheory Fitness studio in Charleston, South Carolina and experience the "Orange Effect", a new experience that marks the beginning of a fitter new you.
One can burn 500-1000 calories during an hour long Orangetheory session, in which our trainers will lead you through intense intervals using treadmill training, indoor rowing, hand weights, and floor exercises. During your gym session, you will be wearing a heart rate monitor that will display your stats on a video monitor for your trainer to know how your heart rate is doing and to help keep you accountable.
The reason for that monitoring is that our workout has been designed to keep your heart rate within a targeted zone. When you are able to stay within this zone, your metabolism gets stimulated and energy is increased. This results in the "Orange Effect"–additional energy and extra calories burnt for a day and a half following your workout!
Our gym facilities are clean and spacious, with a bold and contemporary style designed to energize you, and upbeat music that will inspire you to get moving.
Our exceptional personal trainers care about you and want to see you succeed. Whether you have a weight loss goal or a fitness-inspired goal, our personal trainers are dedicated to getting you there.
Orangetheory offers many great membership options, from prepaid packages to monthly membership options—all with no gym contract required.

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.
Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
